Jeff Doctor is a long time resident of North Carolina’s 9th Congressional District which includes portions of Mecklenburg, Union, and Gaston Counties. He has proven himself as a family man, community leader and a successful entrepreneur and businessman. Jeff’s role as an activist in domestic violence programs and as an investor and owner of small businesses has given him the deep roots within the Charlotte community to really understand the challenges that citizens of the 9th District face on a daily basis.

COMPELLING REASONS TO UNSEAT SUE MYRICK



I am running as a Democrat for the United States Congress because I believe in fighting the broken system of government in Washington, DC and bringing change home to North Carolina’s 9th District.  Like you, I feel that this is the time to take action, and I am committing myself to this race to improve the lives of North Carolinians.  I uphold the principles and standards of the Democratic Party and I will be watching closely the implementation of the recent health care reforms to make sure they benefit the families and the senior citizens of the 9th District.  As a pro-business entrepreneur, I support 2nd Amendment rights, and education for youth to meet the emerging global economy and improving the lives of all North Carolinians.




Jeff Doctor stands in solidarity with the working families of the Ninth District

Jeff Doctor received a tremendous crowd response as he marched in The Charlotte Labor Day Parade.  Congressmen Larry Kissell and Mel Watt along with Jeff doctor proudly marched in the parade. One candidate clearly absent today was Sue Myrick.

Sue Myrick can't defend her shameful record against assisting American Workers and Veterans so she chooses to stay home.

Junior Johnson shows support for
the campaign!

Jeff Doctor met recently with NASCAR legend Junior Johnson.  Junior offered his support and official endorsement for the campaign.  Way to go Jeff!
